Deceptle
Deceptle is a word-guessing game that draws inspiration from the popular game Wordle. In this game, the objective is to guess a daily word within six tries. After each guess, the game provides feedback by changing the color of the tiles to indicate how close your guess was to the actual word.
The color scheme used in Deceptle consists of three different colors: green, yellow, and purple. Each color represents a specific level of proximity between your guess and the correct word:
Green: When a tile turns green, it means that the correct letter is at most one letter off from your guess in the alphabet. For example, if your guess is "apple," and the correct word is "ample," the "p" tile would turn green.
Yellow: If a tile turns yellow, it signifies that the correct letter is at least two letters before your guess in the alphabet. For instance, if your guess is "apple," and the correct word is "rider," the "r" tile would turn yellow.
Purple: When a tile turns purple, it indicates that the correct letter is at least two letters after your guess in the alphabet. For example, if your guess is "apple," and the correct word is "buddy," the "b" tile would turn purple.
The feedback provided by the color changes helps you refine your guessing strategy and get closer to the correct word with each attempt. By paying attention to the colors and adjusting your subsequent guesses accordingly, you can progressively narrow down the possibilities and increase your chances of guessing the word correctly within the six allowed tries.
